Lunar Love

Lately I am majorly crushing on anything patterned with moons. And even more so, the real life moon. I've spent the past week or so driving some late nights all across the country, and something about the night sky while on a long drive is absolutely magical. It's so easy to forget where you are and just feel like you're floating. I think it's that speckled texture of the surface and the ever-so-slight variation of grays that gets me. God sure is an artist!

Today I'm heading back homewards after a few days in Colorado visiting a dear friend in the hospital, and then tomorrow Matt and I are headed off on another little adventure across Minnesota before ending up at school for the new semester. My heart feels at home on the road, and it's been so nice getting to travel a bit between such a busy work schedule and starting school again. This little 2-week break has been a much-needed bit of normalcy.
