Daily Sketch Challenge

I absolutely cannot believe quickly this summer is flying past. I know I've said that a million times, but it's so true. I just want to grab onto all of the sunshine, flowers, fireworks, late nights, ice cream cones, butterflies, movies about butterflies, and new friends and shove them all in my pocket so that they'll stay with me forever.

For me, transition periods can be hard. Sometimes I feel like I get stuck in this limbo stage of waiting for whatever's coming next, and I don't do the greatest at keeping up with the things I love and people I hold dear. As a way to keep myself focused during this transitional period into the new school year, I've decided to give myself a little challenge. I'd love for you to join me!

Everyday for the next 30 days, I'm going to do some kind of sketching and post it here. I'm telling myself it doesn't have to be much.... a 30-second scribble of a chair (errmm.... see below) is a-okay. Don't consider yourself an artist? Quit lying to yourself! Can you draw awesome bubble letters? Do you like cutting and gluing to make collages? Everyone can draw in some way, and you never get better unless you make it a habit!

Want to join? Let me know! I'd love to see your work. :) There may even be a prize for one extra creative artist....
