Let's just say that as far as housing goes, I was beyond blessed this summer. I was nervous about finding a place to live for only 3 months, and was thrilled when I was offered this little space. It's technically a sunroom off of the apartment of two lovely ladies who have grown to be very near and dear to my heart. The space is perfect because of all the natural light. It was nice having a small space as well- I only had the room to keep with me what I really needed, and the minimalism was oh-so-refreshing. As you can see in the photo below, my bed fills about half of the little room and there are 4 or 5 feet to the opposite wall.
Part of beauty of this apartment is all of the old details. The moment I first stepped in I fell madly in love with the wood floors and lofted ceilings that fill our cozy space. And those windows. Mmmmm- so much light! They really open up the space.
